Laurie A. Garrigan started her life's passion and made her fame with the fire of 2003 that errupted in downtown Emporium.  She became known as the  "Local Shutterbug".  She was then hired as Contributing Photographer for Endeavor News Media a weekly Cameron County paper in 2003 and then was hired as a Staff Photographer in 2004.

Laurie gives her husband the credit of being the one, who gave her, her start in photography by purchasing her first digital camera.

Laurie has been a resident of Emporium, PA in Cameron County since 1990 moving from Bradford, PA.  She is married to Pat Garrigan and they have 4 children; Tasha, Tia, Erin James and Shea.
